Students who live or work in NSW may be eligible for a course fee subsidy from the NSW Government. Some qualifications are fee-free for eligible participants.

Smart and Skilled funding is available to most people living or working in NSW. You must be aged 15 or older, have left school, live or work in NSW and be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen. The following table gives an estimate of your student fee – you can check this for your situation in the Information for students on the Smart and Skilled website.

Skilling For Recovery offers FEE FREE qualifications for eligible NSW participants. In addition to the above eligibility criteria, a student must also be 17-24 years of age OR unemployed OR at risk of unemployment, contact us for further information.

NSW FEE FREE TRAINING
The NSW Government have announced Fee Free training for all Smart & Skilled eligible people for priority qualifications in 2023/2024.
SpraySMART can offer fee-free training for eligible students (see the eligibility below).
Training under NSW Fee Free is fee-free and fully funded by the NSW and Commonwealth governments.

Eligibility Requirements
Fees free course availability is subject to meeting eligibility requirements and must be met as part of the enrolment process.
Under Skills NSW, you may be able to study a fee-free course if you are:
- 15 years old or over
- no longer at school
- living or working in NSW
- an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
All Smart and Skilled eligible students undertaking a course in 2023/2024 will not pay a fee.
