This is ONLINE Update training. You can complete the STANDARD version or the 1080 version. Both versions will provide you with the same qualification.
This course allows you to complete the training at your own pace when it is convenient for you.
You will be required to complete the practical via video call with your trainer or return videos on a USB stick to your trainer.

This training is designed to accommodate those people who cannot attend a Face to Face training day. This may be because they live and/or work in remote areas or they cannot find a course that is available near them.

This training may be a statutory requirement in your State of Territory. You will need to check with your local authorities to determine this.

This ONLINE version is self paced but as a guideline you should be able to complete the training in 4-6 hours.

Depending on the State/Territory that you live/work in you may be required to provide evidence that you have previously completed this course and have a Statement of Attainment from a registered training organisation (RTO). For example in NSW this training will need to have been completed less than 5 years and 6 months prior to you completing this course.

This training is updating the industry information that has changed since attaining your original qualification. The Certificate of Completion provided upon successful completion is not a qualification it is proof that you have updated the information that has changed since you attained your qualification.
The information that has been updated relates to the Units of Competency that are listed below. These units have been current since Dec 2018.

The learner will be mainly required to answer multiple choice questions plus some questions that will require short answers that require basic typing skills. There are also some requirements to complete simple mathematical calculations.

Electronically via a computer (desk top PC), laptop or tablet.

This training will require access to a computer with internet access. You will need a pen/paper to make notes and a calculator. All other materials (training manual, assessment, enrolment forms) will be provided electronically upon enrolment once payment is made.

The different versions of this Update course are designed to allow the learner to complete training that is more relevant to the type of chemicals and targeted pests they deal with in their workplace. The materials have been customised for the chosen topic and once completed the Statement of Attainment provided is equal for all training versions.
