Creating a Unique Student Identifier (USI) will only take a few minutes and it is free. You only need to create a USI once and it will stay with you for life. After you create your USI, you then need to give it to each training organisation you train with when you enrol.
To create a USI, go to https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi and follow the steps. If you are interested in learning more about the USI, visit https://www.usi.gov.au/students.
You can download the USI Fact Sheet for more information.
SpraySMART’s OnLine Learnng Platform. At present we have 2 courses available. Course 1: Initial Face to Face training and Course 2: Chemical Safety Update Training.
Initial Chemical Safety Training – Face to Face training has changed for the better in line with industry feedback. We have rebuilt our course so that it is presented in a “blended” format. This means that many of the standard questions can be completed online prior to attending the face to face training. This allows time to be freed up during the training day to enable more practical work to be undertaken. The old outdated 1 day format did not allow this and students feedback indicated that they wanted more opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of their work.
Update Chemical Safety Training. This course provides the learner with a certificate of completion. It is currently being rebuilt to provide a Statement of Attainment to satisfy the requirements for updating in NSW. At the present it can only be completed by those from all states except NSW. It has been designed for those who cannot attend a face to face training day. They may live in regional or remote areas where training is not often available to them or they may not be able to attend a face to face day due to work commitments or illness. We have developed this completely online update course as part of our commitment to the industry to provide training to everyone no matter where they live or what their circumstances.
Certificate of Completion will be issued upon successful completion. This certificate is accepted by the EPA to update tour chemical safety training.
