Online Learning

SpraySMART now offers the following courses via our online learning portal:

  1. SpraySMART Chemical Accreditation Training – Update Course: Can be completed by those who have previously completed the Initial course. In NSW to be eligible for this course your previous accreditation must be no more than 6 months out of date.
  2. SpraySMART Chemical Accreditation Training – Initial Course: This course is ideal for those learners who are undertaking the training for the first time but cannot attend a face-to-face training day. This format involves attending one of our regular live video training sessions after completing the pre-course content online. You will also be required to send in videos that cover the practical content of the course or have your practical skills assessed via FaceTime or Video call with a SpraySMART trainer at a time convenient to you.

Our online training courses were specifically designed to give our users the ability to complete their SpraySMART training at their own pace from wherever they are, even while traveling, using an Android or Apple smartphone or tablet.

Our online courses are recognized Australia wide and include the Australian Quality Framework Level 3 units,

  • AHCCHM307 – Prepare and Apply Chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases; and
  • AHCCHM304 – Transport and Store Chemicals.

You have 6 months from the time you enroll to complete your course.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment that is recognised Australia-wide. This can be used to apply for the license you may require to apply chemicals in your State/Territory.

Changes have been implemented as part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the health and safety of our customers and staff members. Our COVID safety plan includes:

  • Recording contact details for contact tracing via the Services NSW QR code scanning.
  • Physical distancing: as per training venue requirements.
  • Hand Sanitisers: available upon entry at every training facility.
  • Face masks: PPE is a personal choice please use whatever makes you feel comfortable. For all our learners attending courses, SpraySMART recommends the use of face masks. The health and safety of our learners and staff is very important to us. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our COVID Safe policy when attending a face-to-face course. AQF 3 Update Accreditation

Complete the course from anywhere in Australia at anytime. How convenient is that.

Equivalent to: SmartTRAIN, ChemUse Card & all other chemical safety courses.

Complete the STANDARD or the new 1080 version.

AQF 3 Initial Accreditation

For those who have never been trained. Learn how to safely apply, transport & store chemicals to meet industry standards.

Face-to-face session

Equivalent to: SmartTRAIN, ChemUse Card & all other chemical safety courses.

AQF 3 Update Accreditation

For those who need to update their current industry competencies.

Equivalent to: SmartTRAIN, ChemUse Card & all other chemical safety courses.

USI Information

Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) is your individual education number for life. It also creates an online record of your Australian training achievements.

Creating a USI will only take a few minutes and it is free. You only need to create a USI once and it will stay with you for life. After you create your USI, you then need to give it to each training organisation you train with when you enrol.

Chemical Update

Certificate of Completion  will be issued upon successful completion. This certificate is accepted by the EPA to update tour chemical safety training.
