AusChem Training Ltd

SpraySmart’s CEO Dan Austin is a board member of AusChem Training Ltd which is based in Victoria and has trainers who provide their face to face courses in Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia.

AusChem was initially established in the late 1980s as an industry initiative, and eventually transitioned to become AusChem Training Ltd. AusChem is a Registered Charity and not-for-profit company, controlled by a Board, with representatives from various stakeholder groups, and connections to the Victorian Farmers Federation.

AusChem has a broad charter to support, encourage and promote training and accreditation in the safe, effective, and efficient use of AgVet Chemicals.

CountryCo Training Pty Ltd

SpraySmart works in partnership with CountryCo Ag Services Pty Ltd. CountryCo offers these courses as an agent of SpraySMART Pty Ltd. They provide face to face training for Chemical Safety Training courses in Queensland and NSW and are based in Toowoomba. SpraySMART is the Registered Training Organisation that provides the course material and certification for CountryCo’s courses.

Robert Bartley is the Principal of CountryCo Training. The business was started in 1989. Rob has years of experience in agriculture, both on the land in central Queensland and corporate agriculture.

After an upbringing on a mixed farm in central Queensland Rob attended the University of Queensland. His other experiences include:

• Agronomy
• Grain/Cotton trading
• Aquaculture – Member of the World Aquaculture Society, Aquacultural Engineers Society and Aquaculture Association of Queensland Inc.

Graham Matthews

SpraySmart networks with Graham Matthews. Graham pioneered Chemical Safety Training in NSW before establishing GM Rural Training which was one of the largest training organisations in NSW. He then sold this business to ChemCert where he was a board member as well as their head trainer for a number of years.

Graham left ChemCert to work for SpraySMART where he provides Initial and Update courses on the north coast of NSW. He has regular courses at Mangrove Mountain, Gloucester, Wauchope, Port Macquarie, Macksville, Kempsey, Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Casino, Murwillumbah, Lismore, Tweed Heads as well as many others.

Graham also provides customised in-house courses for many of his government and corporate clients.
