Description
AQF 4 Chemical Risk Management
Purpose
To enable those who supervise chemical users to plan for and manage the risks associated with using and applying chemicals.
Duration
After successful completion of AHCSS00074 Agricultural Chemical Skill Set (AQF3) you will be required to undertake another 8 hours training and assessment.
Assessment
The Face to Face session consists of theory training and assessment that is completed at the face to face training day. assessment must be completed in full view of an assessor.
Entry
All participants must have completed the AHCSS00074 Agricultural Chemical Skill Set within the previous 5 years.
Upon Successful Completion
You will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following Units of Competency:
AHCCHM404 Develop procedures to minimise risks in the use of chemicals and
AHCCHM405 Plan and implement a chemical use plan.
Equipment / Materials
You will be required to wear covered footwear, provide your own PPE (gloves and protective eye wear), provide your own pen (no pencils allowed) and sunscreen/hat/water if the weather is hot.
Learner training is supported at the face to face training day by the provision of quality learning materials and resources.
